Hi, I’m Sam Whitaker, the Office and Clinical Operations Manager at Hope and Thrive Counseling. I’m here to help make your experience with our practice feel welcoming, supportive, and seamless—from your first point of contact to connecting you with the therapist who is the right fit for your needs.

I’ve always had a heart for helping others. I’ve spent more than 20 years working in healthcare, including many years at the bedside. Those experiences gave me a deep appreciation for compassionate care and, over time, sparked a passion for the operational side of healthcare and the many ways we can support both clients and providers behind the scenes.

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information Management, and I’m passionate about creating an environment where people feel heard, cared for, and supported.

Originally from Montana, I eventually made my way to the beautiful Pacific Northwest, where I met the love of my life over 11 years ago. Today, we’re raising our children here, and I feel incredibly grateful to call the PNW home.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and appreciating all that this beautiful area has to offer. I’m truly honored to be part of the Hope and Thrive Counseling team and look forward to helping you feel comfortable and connected as you begin your journey with us.
