Do you need counseling, but you live in a remote place, or because you’re stuck at home, you can’t make it to the counselor’s office?

Telehealth is a field that is growing which is a great thing because it makes it easier for people to receive the help they need. The counselor provides support over the internet through email, video conferencing, online chatting, or on the phone. It’s wonderful for people who are stuck at home or who work strange hours or for people who live in rural areas in which there is no mental health clinic nearby.

One of the reasons that we are offering this is because of the Covid-19 crisis. We want to make sure that people continue to get the counseling services they need no matter what is going on.  The experience is similar to in-person counseling. Telehealth makes is easier for patients to access the counseling they need. It’s more flexible and convenient. Our telehealth calls and telephone calls are completely, 100% confidential. We protect your privacy and secure your health information.  We use HIPAA compliant platforms.

In order to do a zoom call, you will need a computer or tablet that has a microphone and camera. You will to have an internet speed of at least 1 mpbs. You’ll need a private place to go, away from family and pets. You’ll need a secure internet connection. In order to do a phone call, you will need a private place away from family and pets and a telephone with good sound quality.
