Life can take us on an unexpected journey.  Sometimes, that leaves us feeling out of control and overwhelmed.  Do you find yourself wishing things could get “back to normal”?  Feelings of loneliness, anxiety, and depression are normal when we’ve experienced trauma, loss, or even a major life transition, but difficult experiences don’t define who we are.

My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe and nonjudgmental space for clients to process difficult experiences and emotions, and build coping skills to feel confident in managing what life brings, navigating relationships, and becoming the person you want to be.

I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Western Washington University in 2009.  Since then, I have worked with children and families in a variety of settings and have several years of experience working with children who have experienced trauma.  I believe that healing is possible.  I received my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University in 2023.  My approach is flexible to meet the individual needs of my clients, utilizing person-centered and strengths-based approaches, and incorporating mindfulness, play, and cognitive-behavioral techniques to help you reach your goals.
